Key Responsibility :

Trims and removes trees with a powered trimmer lift truck, or from the ground with powered or unpowered tools such as saws and a pruner.Able to cut branches or sections of a tree and properly lower them to the ground.The ability to use a wood chipper and preform necessary maintenance.Load and unload trucks with tree sections in to a wood chipper.Able to perform the physical duties, tasks and jobs in all types of weather conditions.Able to lift heavy material and the stamina to work in a labor-intensive environment.Able to work a (40) hour shift type and stand-by work week as well as occasional overtime when necessary.Able to understand and follow all safety procedures and utilize all personal protective equipment.

MUST HAVE CDL

Help the climbers and crew foremen to implement programs that the arborists put into place. They help make the visions of the customers and arborists a reality.

Responsibilities – Assist tree climbers and foreman in specialized pruning

take-downs and the installation of cabling and bracing systems

Safely operate chainsaws, bucket truck, trucks, chipper, and hand tools.

Training for safety and quality control your primary guide.

Quality workmanship, quality control with customer care attitude.

Equipment utilization in the most efficient way possible.

Load/unload trucks, use hand lines, keep work areas clean and orderly.

Prune small ornamentals and other “hands on” related work as assigned.

Requirements * CDL Drivers License, pre-employment drug screening. * Primary focus on safety; operating safely and maintaining a safe working environment. * Safety conscious mentality

  • BUCKET TRUCK / CLIMBING: 1 year (Required)
  • truck driving: 1 year (Preferred)
